Send feedback from Settings
- Select Settings in the left sidebar.
- Under Help, choose Send feedback.
- In What happened?, describe what you were doing and what you expected to happen. You need at least 12 characters. The counter under the box shows how many you've typed.
- Optionally, add a screenshot under Screenshot (optional). Drag an image onto the box, or select browse to choose one.
- Select Send feedback.
When it's sent, you'll see "Thanks, we've got it. Your feedback went straight to the Yori team. We read every message." Select Send more feedback to write another, or Done to close Settings.
Screenshots
- Screenshots must be PNG, JPEG or WEBP images up to 5 MB.
- After you add one, you'll see its name and size. Select Replace to choose a different image, or the X to remove it.
- If the image is too large or the wrong type, Yori shows a message and won't send until you replace or remove it.
Images and videos
If your form shows Images and videos, you can add up to five files:
| File type | Maximum size per file |
|---|---|
| PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF image | 10 MB |
| MP4, MOV or WebM video | 50 MB |
Select the file control to choose files. You can add more files before sending. Select the X beside a file to remove it.
The team can view your images and play your videos with your report. Files stay private. If the form shows Screenshot (optional), the screenshot rules above apply.
What Yori sends with your feedback
Along with your message and attached files, Yori records the page you were on when you opened Settings, and who sent it. It also attaches a short recording of the last minute or so in the app, so the team can see what happened. In that recording, everything you typed and the text of your work are hidden, and images are left out; only Yori's own buttons and menus can be read.
Send feedback from a chat
When you tell Yori in a chat that something doesn't work, or that something is missing, Yori can offer to send it to the Yori team for you. You can also ask: "Send this to the Yori team as feedback."
- Yori shows a card with the report in place of the message box.
- Choose Bug or Suggestion, and change the Title and Details if you want to. If Yori added Context, such as an error message, you can change that too.
- Select Send to send it, or Cancel to send nothing.
Yori never sends feedback until you select Send. After it's sent, Yori confirms it in the chat. Along with your report, Yori records which chat it came from, the Services Yori used, the document you had open and the app version. It doesn't send the text of your documents.
Use the feedback page
There's also a full-page version of the form called Submit feedback, at /app/feedback within your workspace address. It works in the same way:
- In Issue description, describe what happened. You need at least 12 characters.
- Under Attach image, select Browse to add a PNG, JPEG or WEBP image up to 5 MB. Select the X to remove it.
- Select Submit feedback.
A message confirms that your feedback was sent.
Write feedback the team can act on
Good reports get fixed faster. Try to include:
- What you were doing: for example, "I asked Yori to write a LinkedIn post in my Spring launch project."
- What you expected: "I expected the post to use my Brand Profile's tone."
- What happened instead: "It used a very formal tone and ignored my Rules."
- Where it happened: the project, chat, Knowledge item or settings section.
- A screenshot, if it helps show the problem.
Don't include passwords, payment details or private information that isn't needed to explain the problem.
Questions about how to do something
Check these docs first. Most screens in Yori have a guide that explains every button. If you still can't find the answer, send it through Send feedback and say what you were trying to do.
What happens next
Every message goes to the Yori team, who read them all. Sending feedback doesn't open a support ticket, and you won't always get a reply.
Troubleshooting
- "Feedback not sent": check your connection and try again. Your message stays in the box, so you don't need to retype it.
- "Screenshot not uploaded": the image couldn't be uploaded. Try a smaller image, or remove it and send your message without one.
- The send button is greyed out: your message is shorter than 12 characters, or your screenshot is too large or the wrong type.
