Image and video is your personal studio for making pictures and short videos with AI. Write a prompt in the floating box at the bottom of the page, tag a brand kit if you want the result on brand, and everything you make lands in your private gallery.
Before you start
- Everything here is private to you. Your prompts, pictures and videos aren't shared with anyone else in your organisation.
- Making images and videos uses Yori credits. The box shows an estimate before you start, and every finished result shows what it actually cost.
- Videos cost more than images. The price depends on the length, the resolution and whether the video has sound.
Where to find it
Select Image and video in the sidebar. The page is a gallery of everything you've made, with the create box floating at the bottom. Select Brand kits at the top right to see and make brand kits.
Make an image
- Make sure Image is selected at the top left of the box.
- Write your prompt: "Describe your image or add a brand or picture with @...".
- Optionally tag a brand kit or add pictures. See Keep it on brand and Add pictures.
- Check the model and settings along the bottom of the box. See Settings.
- Check the estimate, for example "About 4 credits", then select the arrow button. Or press
⌘+Enteron a Mac, orCtrl+Enteron Windows.
Yori shows "Image queued" (or "4 images queued") and "It'll appear at the top of your gallery when it's ready." The page scrolls to the top so you can watch it arrive.
Prompts can be up to 4,000 characters.
Make a video
- Select Video at the top left of the box.
- Write your prompt: "Describe your video or add a brand or picture with @...".
- Optionally add a Start frame: a picture the video opens on. Select Start frame and choose one of your pictures. Select Change to pick another, or the remove button on its thumbnail to take it off.
- Choose the length, shape, resolution and sound. See Settings.
- Check the estimate, then select the arrow button.
Videos take longer than images, often a few minutes. You can leave the page while you wait.
To turn a picture you've made into a video, open it in your gallery and select Make a video. Yori switches the box to Video with that picture as the start frame.
Keep it on brand
A brand kit holds a brand's logos, colours, fonts, reference pictures and rules. Tag one in the box and Yori uses it for that picture or video. See Brand kits to make one.
To tag a brand kit:
- Type
@in the prompt and choose a brand kit from the list. Hover a kit to see a preview of it. - Or select Brand kit at the top of the box and choose one.
The kit then shows as a tag, such as @Northwind Coffee, at the start of your prompt. To remove it, select the tag, or press Backspace at the very start of the prompt. If your default Brand Profile has a finished brand kit, Yori tags it for you.
When you make something with a brand kit, Yori:
- Picks the pieces of the kit that suit your prompt, such as the main logo, the headline font and the closest reference pictures. It only picks as many pictures as the chosen model can take.
- Writes short brand instructions for the model, numbered to match the pictures it picked. They include the brand's colours and its do and don't rules.
- Sends your prompt with those instructions and pictures to the model. For a video, Yori may use one of the kit's reference pictures as the start frame if you haven't added one.
Your prompt is never changed in the box. Planning the brand pieces uses a small amount of credit.
Add pictures
Pictures show the model what you mean: a product, a person, a style or a layout. Not every model accepts them, and each model has its own limit.
- Select Pictures in the box, or type
@and choose Recent and saved pictures. - Recent lists images you've made. Saved lists pictures you've uploaded.
- Select a picture to add it and select it again to take it off. Use the first tile to upload a new one.
- From an image's details, select Use as a reference.
Added pictures appear as thumbnails in the box. Select a thumbnail's remove button to take it off. Uploads must be PNG, JPEG or WebP, and 10 MB or smaller.
When you also tag a brand kit, your own pictures come first and the brand's pictures are numbered after them.
Settings
The settings sit along the bottom of the box. Select one to see its choices.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Model | Opens a searchable list of image and video models with filters such as Good with words, Editing, Fast and Low cost. |
| Aspect ratio | The shape, such as 1:1, 16:9 or 9:16. Only shapes the model supports are listed. |
| Resolution | How sharp the result is. For images, a size that doesn't work with your shape says "Not with this model". For videos, 720p or 1080p. |
| Quality | For some image models, how much detail and time the model spends. |
| Images | Make 1, 2, 3 or 4 images from the same prompt. |
| Length | For videos, how many seconds long. The choices depend on the model. |
| Videos | Make 1 or 2 videos from the same prompt. |
| Sound or Silent | For video models that can add sound, such as speech, music and effects. Sound costs more. |
Costs
The box shows an estimate for your current choices, such as "About 4 credits". Usage-based means the cost depends on the result and can't be estimated. While a generation is running and its cost is being confirmed, the box reads Busy and you can't start another.
Estimates are approximate. Each finished result shows the credits actually charged. If your workspace is out of credits, Yori won't start. See Out of credits.
Your gallery
The gallery shows everything you've made, newest first, grouped under Today, Yesterday and earlier dates. Pictures keep their own shape, so wide and tall results sit side by side.
- Hover a picture or video to see its prompt, brand kit tag, model, shape and credits, with buttons to download or delete it. Videos play while you hover.
- Results still being made show Waiting or Making while a pattern fills the tile, then the picture fades in.
- Scroll down to load older results.
If the gallery is empty, you'll see "Your pictures and videos will show up here".
Details
Select a picture or video to open its details. Use Previous and Next to move between results. The side panel shows:
- The Prompt, with the brand kit tag if one was used.
- The brand pieces Yori picked, each with its number. Select Brand instructions to read exactly what Yori told the model.
- The model, shape, length, credits and size in pixels.
- Use as a reference (images only): adds the image to the box as a picture.
- Make again: loads the same prompt, model and settings into the box.
- Make again without the brand: the same, with the brand kit taken off, so you can compare.
- Delete.
- Make a video (images only).
Select Download at the top to save the file.
When something doesn't finish
If a picture or video can't be made, its tile shows the reason, for example when the model's safety filter blocks the prompt or the service is busy. Other results from the same request aren't affected.
- Select Try again to make it again. This is unavailable while another generation is running.
- Select the bin to remove it.
Delete
Delete asks you to confirm "Delete this image?". The file is removed. Its generation and billing history are kept for your records. Removing a failed result asks "Remove this failed generation?".
Deleting a brand kit doesn't change pictures and videos you've already made with it.
