On this page6 sections

Knowledge is where you keep the information Yori should reuse across your work: who your brand is, who you want to reach, the tasks you run often, the apps Yori can use, the rules it should always follow and what it remembers about you. Set these up once and you don't have to explain them again in every chat.

Where to find it

Select Knowledge in the sidebar. Yori opens Audiences first, and the Knowledge items appear underneath Knowledge in the sidebar so you can move between them:

  • Brand profiles
  • Audiences
  • Services
  • Connectors
  • Rules
  • Memory

If you've collapsed the sidebar to icons, select the Knowledge icon and choose an item from the small menu that opens beside it. Connectors doesn't open a page. It opens a window over whatever you're looking at.

Image and video and Automations have their own items in the sidebar, just below Knowledge. They're covered in this section of the guide too.

Several Knowledge pages have a small info button next to the page title. Select it for a one-line reminder of what the page is for.

What each item is for

Item What it holds How Yori uses it
Brand Profiles Your positioning, what you sell, how you work with customers, how you sound, why people trust you, plus a brand kit with your logos, colours and fonts When you choose a Brand Profile for a project, Yori writes in that brand's voice and uses its facts
Audiences The organisations and people you want to reach: who they are, good and poor fit, and the people inside them When you choose an Audience for a project, Yori tailors messages to those people's needs and challenges
Services Reusable, guided tasks that produce a specific piece of work When you run a Service, Yori follows its steps
Connectors Apps you connect, such as email or file storage Yori can read from or act in those apps when you ask, within the permissions you set
Rules Short standing instructions, like "Always write in British English" Yori follows every switched-on Rule in every chat
Memory Facts and preferences Yori has saved from your chats Yori reads them at the start of every chat
Image and video Your personal History of generated images and videos Make images and videos from a prompt, on brand with a brand kit
Automations Scheduled Yori tasks Yori runs the task on the schedule you set

Brand Profiles

A Brand Profile describes a business in a structured way. Yori builds the first version for you by researching the business website and any documents you add. You can then edit it, use it in new projects and share it with your team on the Business plan. Read Brand Profiles.

Audiences

An Audience describes who you want to reach: the kind of organisation, its size and location, and the people inside it. Yori researches and builds it from a short description, with optional roles and documents. Read Audiences.

Services

Services are reusable tasks that guide Yori through a specific job, such as writing a particular kind of document. You can keep your own Services and, depending on your plan, use ones shared by your organisation. Read Services.

Connectors

Connectors link Yori to other apps you use so it can work with your real data. Selecting Connectors opens a window where you browse apps, connect accounts and choose what Yori may do in each one. Read Connectors.

Rules

Rules are short instructions Yori follows in every chat, such as a spelling standard or a tone to avoid. They are personal to you and you can switch each one on or off. Read Rules.

Memory

Memory shows the facts and preferences Yori has chosen to save from your chats, like how you like to write. You can turn memory off at any time. Read Memory.

Image and video

Image and video is a private space for making images and short videos and keeping them in your History. Open it from Image and video in the sidebar. Read Image and video.

Automations

Automations let Yori run a task on a schedule, every hour, day, weekday, week or month, or just once. Read Automations.

How Knowledge reaches your chats

Some Knowledge applies everywhere and some only applies when you choose it.

Applies automatically in every chat Applies when you choose it
Your switched-on Rules Brand Profiles selected for a project
Your Memory, while memory is on Audiences selected for a project
Services you run
Connectors, when Yori needs an app you've connected

Inside a project, the Project context button at the top of the chat shows which Brand Profiles and Audience the project uses, and lets you change them. Select Configure in that panel to set your Project defaults, the Brand Profiles, audiences and language that every new project starts with. Existing projects keep their own choices. See Project context and defaults.

Yours, shared and private

Everything in Knowledge belongs to the person who created it, inside the current workspace. If you belong to more than one workspace, each has its own Knowledge.

  • Rules and Memory are always personal. Teammates never see them.
  • Brand Profiles and Audiences start private (Only you). On the Business plan, the person who created one can share it with the Whole team. Teammates can then view it and use it in their projects, but only the creator can change or delete it.
  • Services have their own visibility options. See Service visibility.

Choosing a Brand Profile or Audience for a project, or setting it as a default, never changes who owns it or who can see it. For a full comparison, see Permissions, ownership and sharing.

Credits

Building or rebuilding a Brand Profile, an Audience or a brand kit is an AI task and uses credits. If you don't have enough credit, Yori tells you and doesn't start. Adding Rules, editing fields by hand, sharing and restoring versions don't use credits. See Credits and billing.
