Vendors are the brands behind your Solutions libraries. When Yori cites a vendor's library in a partner's chat or document, partners see that vendor's logo. Paste a vendor's website and Yori finds their name, description and logos for you.
Who can manage vendors
Enterprise admins and Enterprise partner/content managers see Vendors in the Enterprise sidebar under Content. Both roles can add, edit and delete vendors. Enterprise billing admins don't see this page. Partners never see the Vendors page. They only see vendor logos where Yori uses a library.
The vendors list
The page header reads Vendors with an Add vendor button. Below it you'll find a search box (Search vendors) and a filter with counts: All and Needs attention. Needs attention shows vendors that are missing a logo.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Vendor | The logo and name. Select the row to open it. |
| Solutions libraries | The libraries linked to this vendor. |
| Partners using it | How many partners use it, with a small chart of the last few weeks. |
| Logos | Ready, No dark logo or No logo. |
On a phone, rows appear as cards.
If you have no vendors yet, you'll see Add the vendors you work with with an Add your first vendor button. If a search finds nothing, the page offers to add what you typed as a new vendor.
Add a vendor
- Select Add vendor to open Add a vendor.
- Paste or type the vendor's website, for example vendor.com. Yori starts looking as soon as you paste.
- Wait while the status shows Looking…. When it finishes you'll see one of:
- Found: Yori found the name, description and logos.
- Partly found: some logos are missing. You can add the vendor now and upload the rest later.
- Not found: Yori couldn't reach the website. Check the address, or add the details yourself.
- Already added: this vendor is already on your list.
- Check the name and description. Select Edit to change them, then Done.
- Check the four logo tiles. If a logo is wrong, upload your own. Logos must be PNG or SVG.
- Select Add vendor.
The website must be public and start with https:// if you type the full address.
The four logos
| Logo | Where partners see it |
|---|---|
| Logo on light | Full logo on light backgrounds. |
| Logo on dark | Full logo on dark backgrounds. |
| Mark on light | Square icon on light backgrounds. |
| Mark on dark | Square icon on dark backgrounds. |
If there's no dark version, partners in dark mode see the light logo, which can be hard to read. If there's no logo at all, partners see the vendor's name.
The vendor page
Select a vendor to open its page. The breadcrumb reads Vendors, then the vendor's name.
Header
The header shows the logo, name, website and logo status. The buttons are:
- Edit details, to change the name, website, description and logos.
- A menu with Open website and Delete vendor.
If a logo is missing, a card explains what partners see and offers Upload logo or Upload dark logo.
Solutions libraries
A table of the vendor's libraries with Library, Documents, Who can use it, Searches and Sharing. Select a row to open the library. Select New followed by the vendor's name and "library" to create a library already linked to this vendor. With no libraries yet, you'll see No libraries yet.
Usage
Shows Partners using the vendor (out of all your partners) and Searches this month, with View usage in Analytics for the full picture.
Logos preview
Shows how the vendor appears to partners when Yori cites one of its libraries, on light and dark backgrounds. Select Change logos to update them.
Edit a vendor
- Select Edit details.
- Change the Name, Website, Description (a short note for your team) or Logos.
- Select Save changes.
The dialog tells you how many libraries show the change. Changes appear in those libraries straight away.
Delete a vendor
- Open the menu next to Edit details and select Delete vendor.
- Read the confirmation and select Delete vendor.
The vendor's Solutions libraries stay, but show without a vendor logo. Partners don't lose any documents. This can't be undone.
