Broadcasts are updates you send into partner workspaces, such as a new Service, a price change or anything partners need to know. They appear in each recipient's notifications, and you can send them straight away or schedule them for later.
Who can do what
Only Enterprise admins can publish broadcasts. Enterprise partner/content managers can write and save drafts for an Enterprise admin to send.
| Action | Enterprise admin | Enterprise partner/content manager |
|---|---|---|
| View broadcasts and their results | Yes | Yes |
| Write and save a draft | Yes | Yes |
| Edit or delete a draft | Yes | Yes |
| Duplicate a broadcast | Yes | Yes |
| Send now or Schedule | Yes | No |
| Cancel schedule | Yes | No |
| Remove from workspaces | Yes | No |
Enterprise billing admins don't see Broadcasts. Partner admins and partner users only see the broadcasts sent to them, in their own notifications. See Notifications.
Where to find it
Open Broadcasts in the Enterprise sidebar under Partners.
The broadcasts list
The header reads Broadcasts with a New broadcast button. Enterprise partner/content managers see New draft instead.
Below it you'll find a search box (Search broadcasts) and a status filter with counts: All, Sent, Scheduled and Drafts.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Broadcast | The title. Select the row to view it. |
| Audience | Who gets it, for example "Partner admins · All partners" or "Everyone · Tag: MSP". |
| Type | Info, Success, Warning or Urgent. |
| Reach | How many people it reaches. |
| Status | Draft, Scheduled with the date, or Sent with the date. |
Each row's menu has View and Duplicate, plus Cancel schedule for scheduled broadcasts (Enterprise admins) and Delete for drafts. On a phone, rows appear as cards.
If you haven't sent anything yet, you'll see Keep your partners in the loop.
Write a broadcast
- Select New broadcast (or New draft).
- Fill in the composer, top to bottom:
- Title: up to 140 characters. Partners see it first.
- Message: up to 12,000 characters.
- Who gets it: Partner admins (people who manage partner workspaces) or Everyone (everyone in partner workspaces). Each option shows how many people that is.
- Which partners: All partners, By tag (pick one or more partner tags) or Pick partners (search for and choose specific partners).
- Type: Info, Success, Warning or Urgent.
- Button links to: where the button in the notification takes people. Options are Product updates, Notifications page, Settings dialog, Connectors page, Automations page, Projects page, Knowledge page and Feedback page. The default is Notifications page.
- Check the preview on the right. It shows the notification as partners will see it, with your Enterprise as the sender.
- Check the reach card under the preview. It counts the partners and people who will get it and names the partners. Broadcasts only go to launched partner workspaces, so partners that haven't launched aren't counted or listed.
Select Save draft at any time to keep your work. You'll see Draft saved.
Send or schedule
Enterprise admins see two more buttons in the composer.
Send now
- Select Send now.
- Check the confirmation. It says how many people get it and in which partners, for example "Send to 120 people now?".
- Select Send now again.
You'll see Broadcast sent with how many people it was delivered to.
Schedule
- Select Schedule.
- In Schedule this broadcast, pick a quick option (Tomorrow 9:00, Monday 9:00 or In 1 hour) or choose a Date and Time. Times use your time zone, which the dialog shows.
- Select Schedule.
The time must be in the future and within the next year. You'll see Broadcast scheduled with the date and time. It goes out automatically, and you can cancel it until then.
Before sending or scheduling, Yori checks that the broadcast has a title, a message, and at least one tag or partner if you chose By tag or Pick partners.
View a broadcast
Select a row (or View) to open the broadcast in a side panel. It shows the type, status, sender and time, and the full Message.
For sent broadcasts you'll also see:
- Delivered, Read and Clicked, with read and click rates.
- Read over time, a small chart of reads in the first days.
- By partner, a breakdown for each partner workspace.
For drafts and scheduled broadcasts, you'll see Will reach instead.
The panel's buttons depend on the status:
| Status | Buttons |
|---|---|
| Draft | Edit draft and Delete draft |
| Scheduled | Duplicate, and Cancel schedule for Enterprise admins |
| Sent | Duplicate, and Remove from workspaces for Enterprise admins |
Change, cancel or remove
- Edit a draft: select Edit draft. Only drafts can be edited. Sent and scheduled broadcasts can be copied with Duplicate, which opens a new draft with the same content.
- Delete a draft: nobody has seen it, so no partner will notice. This can't be undone.
- Cancel schedule: the broadcast won't be sent and goes back to Drafts, so you can change it and schedule it again.
- Remove from workspaces: the broadcast disappears from every partner workspace straight away. People who already read it keep what they saw.
Announce a new Service
When an Enterprise admin shares a Service for the first time, they can tick Tell partner admins with a broadcast. Yori sends partner admins with matching tags a broadcast titled "New service:" followed by the Service name, with a button to their Services. See Enterprise Services.
